Hello All,

This summer, Trout Unlimited hired Duke University graduate student Dean Szumylo to complete a whirling disease study on the Big Lost River. He is electrofishing on the upper Big Lost River through the end of next week. If you are interested in getting a good look at the fish in your favorite hole, here’s your chance! Dean could always use a few extra hands. Please feel free to share this message widely, and please call Dean at 508-523-9443 to arrange a meeting time and place. Dean is also staying at the Wildhorse Guard Station, so feel free to drop in if you can’t get a hold of him ahead of time.

Additionally, another TU intern Luca Adelfio, will be visiting the Little Lost next Tuesday and the Big Lost River next Wednesday. Luca’s job for the summer is to travel around the US, fish every day, and write about it on a TU blog. Luca has the best job on earth, and we hope to show him a good time next week. If you would like to join us, we will be touring our projects and “measuring success” in the two basins. Please let us know if you would like to join us.

Thanks for your help,

Kim
