You are invited to register for Watershed Watch! This annual water quality monitoring event takes place on Saturday, April 16th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Individuals, families and groups can take part in the watershed-wide effort to collect water quality data along the shores of the Boise River, ponds, reservoirs and creeks. The event will take place at more than 20 sites from Lucky Peak to Caldwell, including Lake Lowell. By gathering water quality data, you will help us get a "snapshot" of the health of the Boise River and contribute to long-term watershed monitoring data. No experience necessary, just a desire to have fun and learn about your impacts to water quality.

To register, please contact the Boise WaterShed Education Center at BoiseWatershed@cityofboise.org or 608-7300 before April 1 with: o Your name o Email o Cell phone number o Group name & # in group (if applicable), and o Preferred monitoring area (Boise, Eagle, Nampa, Middleton, Star, Caldwell*, etc.) To view a map of monitoring locations, visit www.BoiseWatershedWatch.org

*For Caldwell area sites, contact Lee Van De Bogart at 455-4670.

We will do our best to match your preferred area with a site and a water quality professional trainer to work with your group. If you have participated in the past and would like to lead a group this year, please contact the Boise WaterShed at the number/email above. Thank you for your support!

If you miss the deadline to register, drop in on April 16 to the Boise WaterShed Education Center between 10:00-1:00 to participate in water quality testing on-site. More information can be found at www.BoiseEnvironmentalEducation.org

Thanks to our 2011 sponsors! City of Boise, City of Caldwell, Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, MWH, CH2M Hill, and Wood Rodgers.
