Wednesday, May 13 Trout Unlimited Ted Trueblood Chapter Meeting Program

Our May chapter meeting will feature a program presentation by Scott Stanton, Regional Fisheries Biologist from the IDFG Jerome Office in the Magic Valley Region. He will speak on the moving water fisheries within his region as well as stillwater fishing opportunities. He will have some emphasis on the “special regulations” trout waters and highlight ongoing fishery research projects.

Scott has an M.S. in Aquatic Biology and a B.S. in Fisheries Biology/Management. He has been with IDFG for the past eight years. Prior to that he worked in Wyoming, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Florida, Montana and throughout Idaho in fisheries, outfitting and water quality. He spends his free time hunting and fishing with his boys Gus and Fin, and his Labrador Retriever Ruby.

We will be meeting in the Nature Center Auditorium, 600 South Walnut, behind the IDFG Headquarters office in Boise. A fly tying demo will start at 6:30 p.m. with the regular meeting beginning at 7:30.
