Great event today! The creek looks phenomenal, everyone looked super pleased, the Mayor's kind words about Trout Unlimited over the top! The Julia Creek Trout Unlimited project will probably be all over channel 6 and 7 tonite!

So, back to the conservation world.... anybody want to do a little tree planting next weekend? 200 trees won't take long, and you could try out Mores Creek fishing afterward... see if you get any bites! Please forward to anyone you think might be interested. I am thinking Saturday morning, leave Boise at about 10:00 am or so, would only take a couple hours to get it planted, if we have a few people. I can go earlier if that is what people want, or later... let me know.

We do need the "Match" time for the project, as we have a little bit more National Fish and Wildlife Foundation money that needs our contribution. I also hate to have good trees go to waste if they don't get planted. Ponderosa pines may not be riparian veg, but they are important for shade up at the project site (would be planted up on top the tailings).

Please let me know when you can, so I can either claim the trees or let them go! Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend, Pam
